About Me

 

Hello class,

 

My name is Theodore Daniels, and I am studying Accountancy at OSU with minors in Public Health Management and Spanish. I am starting my fifth year at LBCC and third year at OSU this fall. I have lived in the Corvallis area since I was six years old and have since fallen in love with the Willamette Valley.

As an Accountancy major, marketing is required for my business baccore. The most important thing I hope to learn from this course is how to effectively market myself when I join the job market. With people needing to compete with workers from across the globe, it is essential for one to stick out of the applicant pool.

My favorite thing to do besides school is to collect coins. Coin collecting is the perfect crossroads of my interests. There is the historical element, with seeing and touching coins from different eras and places in history. There is a financial aspect when looking at how governments organized their monetary systems and economies. Finally, it is nice to have a collection that does not depreciate in value. While the value of a collection of Pokémon cards or other figurines will vanish as interest wanes, coins will always have the price floor of the value of their gold or silver content.

I look forward to working with you all this summer and getting to learn about the interesting world of marketing.
